Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island Tour Itinerary

Day 1
On arrival at Veer Savarkar Airport, our travel executive would receive and escort you to your hotel. After check in, your day tour would start with a visit to the main attraction in Port Blair, the historic national memorial cellular jail also known as kaalapaani. The Cellular Jail declared a national memorial was constructed by Britishers in 1906. Cellular Jail has mutely witnessed the most inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. The day draws to a gentle close with the Sound and Light Show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their struggle for independence.
Overnight stay at respective Hotel / resort in Port Blair.
note:Note: Cellular Jail is closed on Mondays and public holidays. In case you land on Monday, the itinerary will be suitably amended to cover this attraction on some other day.

OVERNIGHT STAY AT PORTBLAIR
Day 2
Get geared up to visit Asia’s No.1 beach rated by Times magazine. Reach Phoenix Bay jetty to board the cruise to Havelock. After a 2 hour journey in the Andaman Sea with the flying fishes and Dolphins (you may be lucky to sight some) reach Havelock islands. Our tour executive will receive you at the jetty and take you to Radhanagar beach. Spend your day in the No.1 beach in Asia. Enjoy the waves and miles of coast line. This virgin white sand beach is best place for swimming as there are no rocks in the coast and the waves are not too high. Although Havelock is the most developed of the islands, it’s still very low-key and simple – a world away from the busy life of mainland India.

OVERNIGHT STAY AT HAVELOCK ISLAND
Day 3
Elephant Beach Embark on snorkeling trip, just 40 min by Boat, this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on the gear and just start snorkeling. Spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life.
(In case of inclement weather, if sailing to Elephant beach is not possible, alternate tour of Light house shall be conducted)

OVERNIGHT STAY AT HAVELOCK ISLAND
Day 4
Neil Island is famous for its lush green forest and sandy beaches. Neil provides an ideal holiday for eco-friendly tourists, who can feel the serenity of village life here. The beaches at Lakshmanpur, Bharatpur, Sitapur and Natural bridge formation on the sea – shore are fascinating. These untouched beaches of Neil Island let you feel the aroma and eternal peace. Ideal for honeymoon couples and families wanting to spend some private time away from the city crowd.

OVERNIGHT STAY AT Neil Island
Day 5
At morning return to Port Blair and visit to wondoor baeach.
WANDOOR BEACH although it is one of the popular beaches in Andaman… the Wandoor Beach is still known for its scenic panorama that is ideal for swimming and coral sighting. Close to the Wandoor Beach… one can go for Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park that covers roughly 15 small nearby islands .

OVERNIGHT STAY AT PORTBLAIR
Day 6
CHATHAM SAW MILL: Close to Port Blair, this island has great historical significance as it was here that the settlement in the Andaman & Nicobar Island began. The island also has one of the oldest saw mills in Asia, set up in 1883. Destroyed in world war-II, the saw mill was revived in the 1950s.

CELLULAR JAIL: Once the prison where countless martyrs of India’s independence struggle laid down their lives it is now a national Memorial. One can see a poignant Sound & Light show which has been refurbished recently.

SAMUDRIKA NAVAL MARIN MUSEUM: Situated at delanipur and set by the Indian Navy, this museum creates awareness towards protection and conversation of oceanic environment in a scientific manner,information regarding marine life non living resources, the wide variety of shells found on the island as well as the people and environment of the adman’s is provided.

ANTHROPOLOGICAL MUSEUM: Since prehistoric times aboriginals like the tribes of Negrito origin inhabit the Andaman group, while the Nicober Island are inhabited by the mongoloid stock. The museum displays a small but interesting collection of the weapons , tools implements, models and habits of the aboriginal tribes of the islands. Photographs of the tribes there, art and handicraft are other attraction

SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW AT THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL:A fitting tribute to the heroes of Kalapani, set to music & lights.

Day 7
After enjoying the beauty of exotic islands, mesmerizing beaches, unexploited nature and knowing our culture its now time for us to tell you good bye.
